This past weekend, we went on a getaway trip to the Sierra Mountains and Lake Tahoe. On the first night, we arrived at the Sierra Lodge with hot ramen soup prepared by the early crew. After that, we had a group game time altogether at the Barn. Even though it was Friday late night, we played with lots of excitement and enthusiasm with balloons-pooping, blind-folding styrofoam noodle sticks-fighting, and nerf gun target hitting. Before we called it a night, some of us even played basketball at the outdoor courts. The following day, we went to Sand Harbor of Lake Tahoe and hiked around the park. In the afternoon, we returned back to the Lodge for hot fish cake soup and another round of group game time. Later that evening, we had a fun skit time where we acted out three stories from the Bible: The Parable of the Rich Fool (Luke 12:31-21), the Parable of the Great Banquet (Luke 14:8-21) and Jesus Walking on Water (Matthew 14:22-33). We spend the rest of evening around the campfire at the gazebo. On Sunday, we had a Sunday Worship Service led by Chul where he preached about the three stories from the skit time the night before.
